COMPANY HISTORY

Osaka Godo Co., Ltd., OG’s predecessor, was established in 1923 by dye trading houses that had contributed to the growth of the modern Japanese society. Since the establishment, OG Corporation has rich and long history of over 90 years.

January 1923 Imura Boeki Co., Ltd., Yamatome Unlimited Co., Hayashi Rokubei Shop, Kawachi Unlimited Co., and Shibatayasu Dye Shop jointly established Osaka Godo Co., Ltd. with capital of 500,000 yen.
July 1933 Capital increased to 1,500,000 yen.
January 1952 Capital increased to 30,000,000 yen.
June 1958 Daiwa Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of dyeing auxiliaries and industrial chemicals) established.
May 1960 Capital increased to 150,000,000 yen.
January 1965 Capital increased to 250,000,000 yen.
April 1967 Suzukawa Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of industrial chemicals) established.
December 1971 Toa Kasei Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of industrial chemicals) established.
February 1973 Capital increased to 450,000,000 yen.
October 1979 Capital increased to 600,000,000 yen.
July 1980 OG Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of industrial chemicals) established.
September 1982 Head office relocated from 1-42, Kita-kyuhouji-cho, Higashi-ku, Osaka-shi to 4-1-43, Miyahara, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka-shi (a newly-constructed building).
August 1983 Osaka Godo America, Inc. established.
September 1985 Capital increased to 710,000,000 yen.
September 1985 Capital participation in Yamago Kasei Industries Co., Ltd. (synthetic resin molding).
September 1986 Capital increased to 1,110,000,000 yen.
October 1990 ICG Company Ltd. (import and export of chemical products) established.
July 1991 Company name changed from Osaka Godo Co., Ltd. to OG Corporation pursuant to corporate-identity (CI) activities.
September 1995 F.O. TEC. Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of industrial chemicals) established.
October 1995 OG. Asia (Taiwan) Corporation (import and export of chemical products) established.
December 1995 Qingdao OG Plastic Products Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of synthetic resin products) established.
April 1996 OG Wakayama Co., Ltd. (chemicals wholesaler) established.
October 1997 Capital participation in Daido Sangyo Co., Ltd. (chemicals wholesaler).
December 1997 Shanghai OG Trading Co., Ltd. (import and export of chemical products) established.
April 1999 NOAC Co., Ltd. (computer-related business and management) established.
April 2001 OG Film Co., Ltd. (film manufacture, product processing, and sales) established.
October 2002 Capital participation in Ike Trading Co., Ltd.
August 2003 Shanghai OG T&D Techno Co., Ltd. (laboratory center. manufacturer of dyestuff and dyeing auxiliaries. ) established.
June 2004 Osakagodo Korea Corporation (import and export of chemical products) established.
November 2007 ON Co-Labo Corporation established through shared capital participation by OG Corporation and Nagase & Co. Ltd.
October 2009 Acquired Chatani Sangyo Co., Ltd. (a trading company).
October 2009 OG Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (import and export of chemical products) established.
December 2011 Acquired a stake in Nagase Color Chemicals Co., Ltd. (wholesale trade of chemicals).
April 2012 Consolidated ON Collaboration Co., Ltd. and Nagase Color Chemicals Co., Ltd. Integrated fiber related business and founded OG Nagase Color Chemicals Co., Ltd.
October 2012 Capital participation in Chuwa Chemical Co., Ltd. (an industrial chemical wholesaler)
March 2013 ARVIND OG NONWOVENS Pvt. Ltd. (non-woven fabric manufacturing and sales) established.
September 2013 PT. OG ASIA INDONESIA (import and export of chemical products) established.
October 2013 OG Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. (import and export of chemical products) established.
April 2015 Capital participation in MC GROUP
December 2016 Capital participation in Asahitechno Industries Co.,Ltd. ( manufacturer of raw material for synthetic resin products)
